Debris Pick Up

Cornelia Announces Debris Pickup Schedule

CORNELIA, GA – The City of Cornelia is aware that there are a number of trees and debris down throughout the city. A lot of these trees have power lines tangled in them and cannot be removed until Georgia Power tells us that it is safe. We will begin working on these trees as soon as we are able.

As for the debris removal we will follow the same schedule as with our leaf and brush pick up. We will begin in Ward 1 and work our way thru the city picking up debris. We will not go into citizen’s yards to clean up debris, it will need to be hauled to the curb. The cleanup will take several weeks to complete so please bear with us.
